Following the Skyports MoU, media coverage including 7NEWS reported Mayor Tom Tate's comments on timing and pricing for proposed Gold Coast air taxi services. Tate suggested operations could begin around 2030 — two years ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games — to allow a bedding-in period.

Reported indicative pricing positioned early services at a premium level, with estimates around $900 for four passengers on routes such as Gold Coast Airport to Broadbeache, compared with roughly 45 minutes by road in typical conditions.

Tate also referenced three to four vertiport locations designed to connect travellers with hotels and venues without additional ground transfers. These figures remain indicative only; no fares or schedules are bookable.
