Eve, Alt Air and Skyports target east-coast eVTOL network

Partnership

Eve Air Mobility, Sydney-based Alt Air, and Skyports Infrastructure announced a strategic collaboration in March 2026 to prepare for eVTOL operations across New South Wales and Queensland. The partnership covers vertiport infrastructure, route planning, airspace integration, ground operations, and customer experience.

While Alt Air is headquartered in Sydney, the consortium explicitly targets high-visibility operations ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Summer Games — a timeline relevant to Gold Coast transport planning and cross-regional SEQ movement.

The City of Gold Coast's subsequent Skyports MoU builds on this broader east-coast programme by adding a local government partner. Certification, funding, and community acceptance remain open questions.
